CM Sukhu Pays Tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on Death Anniversary

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Chaura Maidan, Shimla, on his death anniversary.

Speaking at the occasion, the Chief Minister described Dr. Ambedkar as a visionary statesman and pioneering social reformer who dedicated his life to promoting equality, justice, and the rights of marginalized communities. He said that while framing the Indian Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar ensured equal rights for all citizens and made an extraordinary contribution to strengthening the nation’s democratic foundations.

The Chief Minister added that Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals continue to inspire the country in its pursuit of a progressive, inclusive, and just society.

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, PCC President Vinay Kumar, Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal, Advocate General Anoop Rattan, former Speaker Gangu Ram Musafir, Councillors, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap, Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Gandhi, and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
