Solan Volleyball Association has announced the trials for the upcoming Junior State Volleyball Championship, taking a step forward in its preparations. The trials for Under-19 boys and girls will be conducted on 21 November at Kudawwala Ground, Baddi (Solan). The selection process will begin at 12:00 PM, and players are advised to reach the venue well in time.
The association has clearly stated that only those players will be eligible to participate whose date of birth is on or after 01 January 2008. To verify age eligibility, it is mandatory for all players to bring their documents. Required documents include:
- Class 10th marksheet
- Aadhaar card
- Three recent passport-size photographs
Solan Volleyball Association President Sanjeev Kumar and Secretary Kamal Chand have emphasized that players without proper documents will not be allowed to participate in the trials. Additionally, players arriving late will also not be considered. This step has been taken to maintain transparency and discipline in the selection process.
They further informed that after the trials, a special coaching camp will be organized for the selected players. In this camp, players will receive advanced training and technical skill development to prepare them for the state-level championship. The aim is to enhance the performance of both district and state teams.
